There’s a new sushi restaurant in town called Sushi Burrito & Co. in Melrose Arch and is, judging by its growing popularity, here to stay! Sushi Burrito & Co. is a new and exciting concept for sushi lovers, and a first of its kind in South Africa. Mixing Asian and Latin flavours together, they serve flavourful sandwich-sized sushi that can either be ordered wrapped in Nori seaweed or rice paper and rolled in their famous crunch. Fashion brands Superdry and Scotch & Soda came together on Thursday 01 June 2017 to showcase their Autumn/Winter ’17 collections. The event, called The Gathering was held at Katy’s Palace Bar and featured an exclusive fashion show for media and guests as well as a buzzing after party. Make-up brand and sponsor, Urban Decay were stationed on the night to keep guests looking fresh faced and fabulous. Drinks were flowing thanks to Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose and Dewars. Popular food trucks, Balkan Burgers, Sumting Fresh and Woodstock Waffles kept guests full and satisfied. All in all, it was an exciting night out alongside Joburg’s hip and happening crowd that indulged in the best food, fashion, drinks and music.
